The Plateau State Polytechnic Main Library is located at the Main Campus of the institution in the Heipang, Barkin Ladi. The Jos Campus also houses the branch Library, all aimed at providing easy access to students, faculty, and staff.
1. Reading Areas: The library is equipped with comfortable reading spaces to accommodate individual and group study sessions. Presently the Library has 1,522 sitting capacity and 30 cubicles
2. Book Collection: It houses a diverse collection of books, reference materials, periodicals, and journals covering a wide range of academic disciplines. We currently have 39,736 books and 3,569 (146, different titles) Journals collections. All are classified using the Library of congress classification scheme.
3. Digital Resources: The library likely access to digital resources, including e-books, online journals, and databases, enhancing research capabilities. Links are available on the website.
4. Computer and Internet Access: Computers with internet access are available for research purposes, and the library offer Wi-Fi connectivity for personal devices. 75 PCs are available at the e-Library

The library opens Monday to Friday by 8am to 4pm and Saturdays by 9am – 1pm
Qualified librarians and support staff totaling 24 are available to assist users in navigating the resources and services.
The library has established policies regarding borrowing limits, overdue fines, and acceptable behavior within the premises. Academic staff are entitled to 4books for four weeks, students are entitled to 2books for weeks as Non Academics staff also.
There are special collections and archives dedicated to specific subjects or historical materials in both Libraries.
